New Delhi: On the occasion of the Holi festival, the Central Government has come up with a special scheme. Holi is coming at the end of the month of March 29 this time. For salaried people, usually, these few days at the end of the month are stressful. However, the Central Government has introduced the Festival Advance Scheme for its employees.

Under this scheme, central government employees can take advance up to Rs 10,000. The government will not charge any interest on this advance and you can pay it in 10 installments. Earlier, in the Sixth Pay Commission, 4500 rupees were received. It has been increased to 10 thousand now. This loan can be repaid every month with an installment of 1000 rupees. These loans will be given in the form of a prepaid rupee card to all the employees of the central government.

This is also important because when the 7th Pay Commission was implemented, it was not a plan. In the Sixth Pay Commission, Rs 4500 was provided only for non-gazetted officers and employees. According to the Finance Ministry, the new scheme can be taken once a year. If you are a central government employee and have not taken this scheme, then you can take advantage of it in Holi. To avail of the scheme, registration has to be done by 31 March 2021.
