New Delhi: Senior BJP leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah said at the party's national executive meeting in Hyderabad that the next 30 to 40 years will be the time of the BJP and due to this, India will become a Vishwa guru. Shah said that dynasty, casteism and appeasement were a big curse for the politics of this country, which was the cause of the country's suffering.

Shah said the BJP will end family rule in states like Telangana and West Bengal and will also come to power in other states including Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Odisha. The BJP, which has been in power at the Centre since 2014, is out of power in these states. Amit Shah recently described as historic the Supreme Court's verdict rejecting the petition of Zakia Jafri, wife of late MP Ehsan Jafri. The petition had challenged the Special Investigation Team's (SIT)'s clean chit to 64 persons, including the then CM Narendra Modi, in the 2002 Gujarat riots case. Shah said Modi faced an SIT probe into his alleged role in the riots and maintained his faith in the Constitution.

At the same time, Amit Shah said that Modi digested all the poison thrown on him like Lord Shiva. Amit Shah claimed that Congress has become a party of the family, many of whose members are fighting for democracy within the party. He said the Gandhi family is not allowing internal organisational elections to take place as it fears losing control over the party. He said that the Opposition is dissatisfied and the Government has been opposing whatever good it does.
