Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Gujarat's Surat. He will also visit Daman to launch various development projects and hand over certificates to beneficiaries of various official schemes. He will also address a public meeting in Daman.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be also present in Chennai on Saturday to attend the launch-ceremony of the AIADMK government's dynamic project. Under this of working women will be providing 50 percent subsidy to buy two-wheelers.
Worth mentioning here the ambitious project of late chief minister J Jayalalithaa, the Amma Two-wheeler Scheme is being launched on her birth anniversary.
As per an official report, apart from Tamil Nadu, the prime minister will also pay to visit Daman, Puducherry and Gujarat in the next two days.
The prime minister will land in Daman on Saturday morning to inaugurate various development projects and hand over certificates to beneficiaries of diverse official schemes and will also address a public meeting.
PM Modi will then take a trip to Tamil Nadu and in Chennai; he will be present at the event to mark the inauguration of the Amma two-wheeler scheme.
On Sunday, the prime minister will tour Puducherry at Aurobindo Ashram where he will offer floral tributes to Shri Aurobindo and attend the interactive session with students of Sri Aurobindo International Centre of Education.
Then He will visit Auroville where commemorative a postage stamp on the golden jubilee celebrations of Auroville will be released.
On Sunday evening, PM Modi will be present in Surat, Gujarat, for the flagging off of the 'Run for New India Marathon'.
