Kolkata: Today is the 5th day of the farmers protest against agricultural laws passed by the Central Government in both houses of Parliament. Farmers sitting around Delhi have refused to accept any condition of the government. A high-profile meeting was held late last night at the residence of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President JP Nadda, which was attended by Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar for about 2 hours.

The opposition is constantly attacking the Modi government regarding the farmer movement. In the same sequence, Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Derek O'Brien said in a statement that, 'Modi-Shah had promised that the centers will double the income of farmers by 2022. In the current situation, the income of farmers will not double by 2028. Meanwhile, farmer income in Didi's Bengal has tripled in 9 years. Facts speak.
