Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch solar powered boats separately from distributing 1,000 e-rickshaws to people in his Lok Sabha constituency Varanasi on 1st May 2016.
Sanjay Bhardwaj said, “ PMO, who will reach in the temple city from Ballia, will first allocate 1000 E-rickshaws at DLW ground here and head to Assi Ghat on river Ganga, where he will start on solar powered boats”
“The Modi will flag off a fleet of 11 e-boats following which he will also cooperate with boatmen at the Assi ghat”, Bhardwaj said.
For the visit by the administration, the tight security arrangements will be made.
