Modi-Xi Wuhan informal summit: From walk to boat ride, Lunch to Dinner All you need to know

Wuhan [China], April 26 (NT): Prime Minister Narendra Modi landed at scenic Wuhan city in Central China, at 12:30 a.m. on Friday, ahead of his a great and anticipated informal deal-cum-meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping.

The informal meeting comes in the milieu of the rigorous efforts made by both India and China to shift past anxiety, which erupted out last year's 73-day Doklam standoff.

Prime Minister Modi will begin his talks with Chinese President Xi at 3:30 pm on Friday at the Hubei Provincial Museum.

After visiting the museum for about an hour, the two world leaders, accompanied by six top officials from each side, will hold bilateral talks at the rambling East Lake Guest House, where Xi is residing and which will be followed by the leaders' walk.

For his Indian Counterpart, Dinner will be hosted by Chinese President Xi at the guest house in central Wuhan.

On Saturday, the Modi-Xi will spend time without their aides as with Xi taking Modi for a lakeside walk and a boat ride on the scenic East Lake and that will be followed by a private lunch hosted by the Chinese President.

No joint statement or press statement will be issued when Modi will hold informal talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
