The Rajya Sabha MP of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Sushil Kumar Modi has made the biggest statement about reservation so far. He has said that some opposition parties like Congress, RJD have started demanding reservations for Dalits converted to Christianity and Muslim religion under the conspiracy.

At the same time, Sushil Modi spoke about this, but in the constitution, the reservation has been made for Hindu, Buddhist, Sikh, and religious Dalits only. In such a situation, BJP is not in favor of reservation at any cost for Dalits who adopt Muslim and Christian religions.

Sushil Modi spoke all these things in a ceremony organized by the BJP Mahadalit Cell on Friday on the 644th birth anniversary of Sant Shiromani Ravidas organized in the Atal Auditorium of the state office. MP Sushil Modi said that BJP is not in favor of creamy layer in the reservation of jobs of SAC, ST. Therefore, the Narendra Modi government has not only opposed this but has also appealed to send the matter to the bench of 7 judges of the Supreme Court.
