Chandigarh: The attack on punjab police intelligence headquarters in Mohali was carried out by a rocket launcher from Pakistan. It was sent to India via drone. Nishan Singh, an accused arrested in the Mohali blast case, has revealed this during interrogation. Not only this, the police have revealed in the investigation that the attackers have attacked the intelligence department's office and fled towards UP. 

A rocket propelled grenade RPG was attacked at the headquarters of punjab police's intelligence department located in sector 77 in Mohali on Monday. In this case, The Punjab Police had arrested Nishan Singh from Tarn Taran. Nishan Singh is being questioned in Mohali. Nishan Singh has revealed in the police interrogation that he had given the rocket launcher from Pakistan through drones to the attackers. The attackers have fled to UP after the attack on the headquarters. Not only this, three teams of Punjab Police are also conducting raids in UP in search of the attackers.

Earlier too, the Punjab Police had expressed apprehension that Harvinder Singh Rinda was behind the attack. Which has been hiding in Pakistan for quite some time. He has been providing drugs, weapons and explosives to his colleagues in India right from Pakistan. Earlier, Rinda's name was also associated with terrorists arrested with explosives in Karnal, Haryana. Rinda's name had also cropped up in the attack on the CIA's office in Nawanshahr last month.
