New Delhi: Five governors have been appointed and transferred on behalf of President Ramnath Kovind on Sunday. Among them, former Union Minister Arif Mohammad Khan has been appointed as the new Governor of Kerala. Kalraj Mishra has been appointed as the new Governor of Rajasthan. Till now he was acting as the Governor of Himachal Pradesh. At the same time, Bandaru Dattatreya has been made the new Governor of Himachal Pradesh.
Apart from these, Bhagat Singh Koshiyari has been appointed as the Governor of Maharashtra. Tamilisai Sundararajan has been given the responsibility of the new governor of Telangana. According to the release issued by Rashtrapati Bhavan, his appointment will be considered effective from the day the newly appointed Governor takes over his office.
