Lucknow: The police of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, which is running a protest against terrorists, have achieved a major breakthrough. In fact, a man from Uttar Pradesh has been arrested by the Jammu and Kashmir Police here on Sunday on suspicion of sharing secret information about important establishments with terrorists in Pakistan.

Officials said a special operation group of Jammu and Kashmir police has arrested him from the Gandhinagar area. Preliminary investigations revealed that the arrested man had shared videos of important establishments, including prayer sites, to his Pakistani elders. In another case, police have arrested a criminal who stole a pistol from Nagrota in Jammu.

Mohammad Mushtaq alias Gungi had recently snatched a weapon from the hands of a man in the Meeran Sahib area and fled. The stolen pistol has also been recovered from the possession of the man. According to police information, the person arrested is a dangerous criminal. He has been engaged at several police stations. Police were on the lookout for him in several cases including theft, rape, cattle smuggling and drugs.
