The Vice President Mohammed Hamid Ansari today left India for a five-day visit to Rwanda and Uganda.

On issues of bilateral interest, he will have a discussion with leaders of both the nations to enhance India's engagement in the African continent. Hill pay homage at the genocide museum in Kigali, Rwanda.

In Uganda, he will meet  President of Uganda Yoweri Museveni and would be paying floral tribute to the bust of Mahatma Gandhi at Jinja.
