Rio Olympics 2016, Abhinav Bindra the shooting star of India had a rough outing, as he missing out on a medal, Gagan Narang crashing out in qualifiers and catch shooters failing to advance.
On the other hand Indian men’s and women’s hockey team lost their individual matches whereas Archer Laxmi Rani Majhi failed to go beyond round of 64 and swimmers Sajan Prakash and Shivani Kataria made no bang in the pool.
In the shootout, Abhinav shot a 10 though Kulish got a score of 10.5 to enter the medal rounds. Bindra, in his fifth and last Olympics, was disadvantaged of a medal to offer adieu after an illustrious career. He had entered for the final of the event finishing seventh in the qualifying round.
