In an interview, Monalisa revealed many important things related to her life. Monalisa said she has faced trolling several times in her life. Monalisa explained, "I have been trolled a lot in my life. But I think it's reduced now, initially, people used to write too many negative things about me. From body shaming to my inability to speak good English, I used to get trolled. People also made lewd comments on my dressing sense."

At the same time, Monalisa said, "But When I entered the Hindi industry, I was very naive. People who love me are more important to me than these trollers. So, I don't let them affect me. In the beginning, trolling made a difference to me. But slowly, I understood that it was right to ignore them.'' Monalisa added, "How could I change myself as soon as I entered the industry. Grooming also takes time. How can I speak fluent English in one go and if I can't speak, what's wrong with that? I am an artist and my job is to entertain."
