Lucknow: The monsoon, which entered Uttar Pradesh's Lucknow after a delay of six days, has made the faces of the farmers bloom. The drizzle, which started at around 3 a.m. on Thursday, continued throughout the day. According to the MET department, the monsoon has hit Lucknow. On Thursday, in the last three years, June recorded the highest rainfall in a single day. The rain caused a drastic drop in temperature and it has dropped to 26 degrees.

At the same time, the first rain of the monsoon in the city has increased the problems of the people. In urban areas, there was a power failure for five to ten hours and in rural areas for 15 hours. The roads dug up in the city became dangerous after the drizzle of rain, on which some people have also been reported to have been injured by slipping. Waterlogging was also reported in some areas.  

At the same time, the faces of the farmers who were yearning for rain drops were smiled on Thursday. The monsoon has reached Lucknow this time. This was the late entry of the monsoon in 10 years. It was only on June 18 last year that the monsoon reached Lucknow. In 2018 and 2019, it was reported in Lucknow on June 27. At the same time, the MET department has predicted that there may be rain in Uttar Pradesh for the next three days.
