Kerala is moving with the slow pace, may reach monsoon on June 7

Kochi: Due to the slow pace of monsoon, it is expected to reach Kerala more late. Monsoon can knock in Kerala till June 7. Private weather forecast agency SkyMate has made changes in its initial forecast. The agency had earlier told that rainy season will start after the monsoon arrives in Kerala on June 4.

With this, the agency also estimated that monsoon can arrive two days early or late.   Now SkyMate has said that, 'The current weather situation is indicative that the monsoon will now knock in Kerala around June 7. It can be two days ahead. ' Indian Meteorological Department has said that till June 6, monsoon can enter Kerala. The Department has also estimated to be back two days ahead.

GP Sharma, president of Meteorological and Climate Change, Skymet Weather said, "The change in the speed of monsoon continues. Actually, there is still a complete fulfillment of the three norms required to declare the arrival of the monsoon for a few more days to become a favorable situation. Sharma has mentioned three main reasons for the slow pace of monsoon.
