Monsoon reaches to other states From Kerala, rain is forcasted

Kochi: Meteorological scientists say the monsoon has moved to the southern Arabian Sea, most parts of Lakshadweep and parts of Kerala and south Tamil Nadu. The south-west monsoon this year has reached India in a week's delay. The scientists also informed that in the next 48 hours, the condition for advancing the monsoon in parts of the north Eastern states is on the rise till Tuesday.

Mononoon was expected to arrive in Kerala from 1st June, but it knocked off the Kerala coast on Saturday with a delay of one week. According to a statement issued by the Indian Meteorological Department on Sunday, the southern Arabian Sea, Lakshadweep and Kerala, some areas of Tamil Nadu, south-west of the Bay of Bengal, south-east, east-Central and north-east and west-central Bay of Bengal and the central Arabian Sea by Tuesday The situation is favourable for the south-west monsoon to continue in the areas.
