Bhopal: Monsoon has hit several states including UP, Bihar and Rajasthan. The monsoon rains brought relief from the humidity and heat, but in UP, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, about 75 people have died due to lightning at many places. Yes, at the same time, the Met department says that heavy rain is expected in Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh today. The lightning has caused the highest damage in Uttar Pradesh.

40 people have lost their lives here in the last 24 hours. It is said that 18 persons have lost their lives in Kanpur and adjoining districts, 13 in Prayagraj, three in Kaushambi, one in Pratapgarh, three in Agra and one each in Varanasi and Rae Bareli districts. Not only that, more than 50 cattle have also died due to lightning in UP. This time, after the delay in monsoon, heavy rain lashed several districts including Rajasthan's capital Jaipur in the last 24 hours, but 22 people including 9 children were reported killed due to lightning at different places.

It is said that 11 deaths were reported in Jaipur, 4 in Kota and 3 in Dholpur. At the same time, three people have lost their lives due to lightning in different districts. The rescusal operation of the deceased due to lightning is said to be underway. Talking about Madhya Pradesh, more than 13 people have lost their lives due to lightning. Gwalior has reported the highest number of seven deaths during this period. However, Haryana, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand and Uttarakhand have not been able to see the havoc of lightning.
