Bhopal: Monsoon has entered Madhya Pradesh on the last day. The first rains in Betul rained 15 mm of water in the last 24 hours. According to meteorologists, the monsoon has now set in Madhya Pradesh. It is now moving beyond Chhattisgarh and Bihar, touching Betul and Seoni of South East. Earlier, the Meteorological Department had predicted that the monsoon will enter Madhya Pradesh on June 15 or 16, which has already happened. With the knock of monsoon, heavy rains are also expected in many districts today.

At the same time, rain has started across the state due to the moisture in the monsoon. In the next 24 hours, there is a possibility of rains in most places in the districts of Shahdol, Jabalpur, Hoshangabad, Indore and Ujjain divisions. Apart from this, there is a possibility of rain in Rewa, Sagar and Bhopal, while water may fall at some places in Gwalior and Chambal divisions.

For your information, let us tell you that the monsoon was kind to some districts of Madhya Pradesh with its entry. Khajuraho recorded 17.6 mm, Naugaon 01 mm, Gwalior 1.2 mm, Satna 9 mm, Rewa 26 mm, Sidhi 02 mm and Ratlam 10 mm rainfall. At the same time, with the arrival of monsoon in Madhya Pradesh, heavy rains are expected in many districts. Heavy rainfall has been predicted in Anuppur, Dindori, Jabalpur, Chhindwara, Seoni, Mandla, Balaghat, Betul, Harda, Khandwa, Khargone, Alirajpur, Barwani, Jhabua and Dhar districts. In the districts of Shahdol, Hoshangabad and Indore divisions, thunderstorms may occur, while the same is likely to occur in Rewa, Sagar, Ujjain and some districts of Bhopal division.
