Bhopal: In many districts of Madhya Pradesh, there has been drizzle. Monsoon movements have increased in Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal. The south-west monsoon is moving forward continuously. In this sequence, a low-pressure area is going to form in the Bay of Bengal on Monday. It is expected to move further on 9-10 June. 

The current monsoon has advanced into Karnataka, parts of Rayalaseema, most of Tamil Nadu and some parts of Bay of Bengal. It is likely to enter parts of Maharashtra around 12 June. On the other hand, the low-pressure area in the Bay of Bengal will start moving from Odisha on Wednesday. Due to this effect, the rainy season is expected to start in the western region of the state from June 10.

During this time, heavy rains can also occur in Indore, Ujjain, Bhopal, Hoshangabad and some other places. This period of rain may continue intermittently for two to three days. On Sunday too, it was rainy in some places with thunder-glow. According to the meteorologists, after four days, a period of intense showers will begin in the districts of Jabalpur, Bhopal, Indore and Ujjain divisions from 10 or 11 June. During this period, heavy rainfall can also occur. Around June 15, the monsoon can also knock in the state. In this regard, senior meteorologist Ajay Shukla said that at present the wind direction is south-western. Due to this, there is large scale moisture coming from the Arabian Sea. Due to this, there are thundershowers in some places in the state. He told that a low-pressure area is going to form in the Bay of Bengal on Monday.
