New Delhi: The last week of the monsoon session of Parliament is underway. However, the opposition's uproar over the demand for a discussion on a number of issues, including the Pegasus espionage case, agricultural law, continues. The Tribunal Reforms Bill (Tribunals Reforms Bill, 2021) was passed in the Upper House of Parliament on Monday amid the uproar.
The Lok Sabha passed the Limited Liability Participation Amendment Bill, after which the House was adjourned for the entire day. Three Bills were passed in the Lok Sabha on Monday without discussion, including the Limited Liability Partnership (Amendment) Bill, 2021, the Deposit Insurance and Credit Guarantee Corporation (Amendment) Bill, 2021, and the Constitution (Scheduled Tribes) Order (Amendment) Bill, 2021.
Meanwhile, the opposition raised a hue and cry over the Pegasus espionage case, Krishi Kanun, and price rise, after which the Rajya Sabha was adjourned till 12 o'clock. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Parliamentary Party met before the monsoon session. The meeting is said to have discussed the future action of the central government.
