Gujarat: The Gujarat Assembly session is going to begin from today. It is a five-day session and the government is going to discuss 20 bills. According to information received, the corona test of all the ministers and MLAs including the Chief Minister has been done before the session. It has now been reported that 6 MLAs have been found infected. 4 Congress and two BJP MLAs are involved. Talking about names the Congress MLAs, Punanbhai Gamit (Vyra), Nathbhai Patel (Dhanera), Veerji Thummer (Lathi) and Jamshu Patel (Bayad) while the BJP's Kanu Desai (Pardi) and Kanu Patel (Sanind) tested COVID19 positive.

A communique has already been issued on behalf of the Assembly. The release said, "Separate arrangements have been made to sit in the house following the rules of physical distancing due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This time the entry of visitors will be prohibited".

Further, the communique also said that during the last few days, Assembly Speaker Rajendra Tiwari and 505 employees have been screened for Covid-19, out of which five people have been found to be infected with the coronavirus. Jadeja said, "It was decided in the Business Advisory Committee meeting held last week that this time there will be no question hour. MLAs can raise important issues through short-term notices. ''
