Bhopal: Preparations have been made for the monsoon session of the Madhya Pradesh Assembly as corona infection has been controlled. Yes, in fact, it can happen in the last week of July or the first week of August. It is said to present the First Supplementary Estimates (Budget) by the Department of Finance, which will provide for expenditure incurred in corona arrangements. Under the information received, the decision on the date of this Session was taken by The Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Dr. Narottam Mishra will be decided after discussions with Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
Tell all of you that the budget session was over before the scheduled period due to corona infection. The first year 2020 did not even hold monsoon and winter sessions. The meeting was held in September, 2020 on the necessity of meeting the House in six months. In 2021, the Budget Session was convened from 22nd February to 26th March, but due to the increase in corona infection, it had to be postponed midway. It is now being said that the first session of September needs to be convened, keeping in view that the monsoon session is being prepared.
Amidst all this, assembly secretariat officials have now said that the session may be convened in the last week of July or the first week of August in view of the control over corona infection. According to him, the Finance Department will also submit the first supplementary estimate for the current financial year. He has also said that additional budget will be given to various departments in view of corona infection. On the other hand, the Chief Minister has also announced that a large amount of money will be spent in the near future to strengthen health services in the state.
