NEW DELHI: New Delhi, India: The Monsoon Session of Parliament is expected to take place between July 18 and August 12, according to reports.

According to top sources, the Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs, chaired by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, has advised holding the Monsoon Session between July 18 and August 12, 2022. The next session is expected to last 17 working days. Elections for the President and Vice President are anticipated to take place during the session.

While the Indian Election Commission has declared the Presidential elections, no formal date for the Vice Presidential election has been set.

The presidential election will be held on July 18, with the results announced on July 21. Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu's term will finish on August 10th.

Several measures, including at least four that were referred for parliamentary review during the previous budget session, will be introduced for consideration during the Monsoon Session.
