Rahul Gandhi, the former president of the Congress Party, lashed out at the government on Friday, claiming that India is currently experiencing the death of democracy due to concerns like inflation and price increases.

"What are your thoughts on the decline of democracy? In just 8 years, the nation's 70 years of construction were destroyed. In the present day, India lacks democracy "Rahul Gandhi, a senior member of the Congress, made this statement at a press conference held today in the capital.

Rahul Gandhi said in a veiled attack on Prime Minister Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and two topnotch businessmen, "In India today, a four-person dictatorship rules. We want to bring up issues like unemployment and inflation. We want to talk about how divided society is."

"Parliament does not allow the opposition to speak. On the highway, we are detained. India is currently in this state. The media is unable to be courageous in the current climate " he said.  Rahul Gandhi alleged that the Central govt has put "its people" in government machineries.

On July 18, the Monsoon Session began, and it will end on August 12.
