New Delhi: Many regions including Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu may get the gift of early monsoon. In fact, recently, the India METeorological Department has informed that the conditions are favourable for the further advancement of the monsoon during the next 48 hours. According to reports, the monsoon is likely to hit the capital Delhi by the end of June. And north-west, central and adjoining eastern India are not likely to get relief from the heat at the moment. The MET department said on Thursday that the monsoon is moving at a normal pace and it is likely to reach Maharashtra in the next two days. Delhi-NCR is expected to hit by June 27. Apart from this, according to the METeorological Department, the monsoon drops will cover the capital only in the last week of June. Ten days ago, seeing the fast pace of the monsoon, it was being speculated that if this speed continues, then the monsoon in Delhi could also come ahead of its scheduled time.

But, now the pace of the monsoon has returned to normal. Meteorologists told that in the next two days, the monsoon will cover Goa and parts of Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu and the situation of the monsoon going forward is favourable and normal. Although the official date of arrival of monsoon in Delhi is June 27, so given the normal pace of the monsoon, it is believed that the arrival of monsoon will take place around this.
