New Delhi: After the onset of monsoon in Kerala, pre-monsoon rain activities are continuing in many other states as well. According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), due to the effect of Western Disturbance, the weather pattern has changed in the states of North India as well. Let us tell you that in many states including the capital Delhi, there is a drop in the maximum temperature due to light storms and rain. In fact, the IMD has predicted that the seasonal monsoon rains will be normal this year. The Meteorological Department said that 99 percent rain is expected this year. The South-West Monsoon reached Kerala on Sunday, 3 days before its normal scheduled time on June 1.

On the other hand, the people of Delhi-NCR and Haryana are yet to get relief from the heat. In fact, according to the Meteorological Department, there is no possibility of rain here for the next five days. After knocking prematurely in Kerala, the Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of early onset of monsoon in Karnataka and Telangana. Whereas the entry of the monsoon can happen on June 2 in the south interior and coastal areas of Karnataka. With this, the Meteorological Department said that there is a possibility of rain in different areas in Telangana in the next five days.

If we believe the IMD, the monsoon is expected to reach Telangana on June 5. During this, there will be heavy rain in the entire Telangana. During this, there will be rain and thundershowers in Hyderabad. IMD issued heavy rain warning in some districts of Karnataka on June 2. The dome and other parts of the historic Jama Masjid have been damaged due to the storm and the heavy rain that followed in Delhi on Monday evening.

Jama Masjid's Shahi Imam Syed Ahmed Bukhari said that two people were injured when stones fell from one minaret and other parts of the mosque. On Monday evening, two people died in Delhi due to thunderstorms and heavy rain at a speed of 100 kmph. Many trees were uprooted in the capital. Apart from this, roads and air traffic were disrupted due to rain.
