From children to elders everyone loves Moon Dal Halwa. You can make this dish in any festival. This recipe is also called moong dal pudding or moong Halwa. It takes a little longer to make but it tastes wonderful.

Necessary ingredients :

Moong dal - 1 cup
Ghee - 50 grams
Cashew - 4
Almond - 2
Pistachio - 2
Raisins - 5
Mawa - 1 cup
Milk - 1 cup
Sugar - 1 cup
Saffron - 4
Cardamom powder - 1/2 teaspoon

Recipe :

First, wash the moong and filter it, then put 2 spoons of ghee in a pan and heat it and add the mung to it. Roast the moong until it turns brown on low heat and leaves it to cool for 10 minutes. Then grind the mixture in a mixer. Then heat a little ghee in the pan and fry cashews, raisins, almonds and pistachios in it. Add a little bit of ghee to the pan and roast it by adding the powdered paste. Then add mawa to it and mix it. After that, add milk in it and keep stirring till the milk turns dry. When the milk is dry, add sugar and mix well. After that add dry fried fruits and cardamom powder into it.
