Goldy Brar, the mastermind of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala's murder, has been detained in California. Last year, a court in Punjab's Faridkot district issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against Goldy Brar in connection with the murder of Youth Congress leader Gurlal Singh Pehalwan.

After that, Goldy Brar was searched in more than 16 criminal cases, although in the meantime he fled India to Canada.
