Heavy snowfall has left over 275 tourist cars stranded in Sikkim's Nathula, Tsogmu Lake, and nearby locations. The tourists, on the other hand, made excellent use of their time and were said to be "enjoying the snowstorm" rather than worrying.

"Due to severe snowfall, over 275 cars carrying tourists have been left stuck at Nathula, Tsogmu Lake, and neighbouring locations," Sikkim officials said. In the meantime, Indian Army forces have supplied shelter and food to the stranded visitors.

If the weather patterns in the areas improve, the stranded tourists will be evacuated on Sunday. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) had predicted heavy snowfall in Sikkim's higher altitudes. Sikkim saw its first snowfall of the season on Friday.
