New Delhi: The severity of the coronavirus epidemic is increasing continuously and the number of infected people has increased to more than 5 million worldwide whereas more than 3.32 lakh people have died. According to data released by John Hopkins University's Center for Science and Engineering (CSSE), the total number of infected people has increased to 51,01,967, while 3,32,900 people have died due to the disease.

Among the most affected countries worldwide, the US is in the first place, Russia in second place and Brazil in the third place. Coronavirus has also spread rapidly in India and now it has been included in the list of countries with more than one lakh infection cases. According to the data released on Friday by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, 1,18,447 people have been affected and 3583 people have died due to its infection in 32 states and union territories of the country, while 48,534 people have died due to the disease.48,534 people have been cured.

More than 1.5 million people in the world have been infected by the coronavirus in America and the number of people who died due to its infection has crossed the 90 thousand mark. In the US, considered to be the world's superpower, the number of total infected has increased to 15,77,140 while 94,702 people have lost their lives.
