New Delhi: The number of Corona-infected bank employees is increasing steadily in the country. So far, more than 300 employees have become active and 30 employees have died due to corona. Ashwini Rana, Secretary of Voice of Banking has demanded that bank employees should be treated as Corona warriors and banks like other Corona warriors should provide them with 50 lakh insurance cover.
Rana says that the country is facing a corona natural disaster. Along with other agencies of the government, bank employees are also expanding their services to maintain the necessary conditions and assist the government in sending financial aid to the needy. This includes various types of pensioners and borrowers. During this period, banks remain in close contact with customers even after the distance of the employees.
He says that in the current scenario, bank employees serving the people are facing serious challenges and threats because of the spread of the coronavirus. During this time, more than 30 bank employees have lost their lives due to Covid-19. The family members of these employees should be compensated with monetary help and their dependents should be given jobs.
