New Delhi: The vaccination campaign is progressing very fast in India. More than 4.5 crore corona vaccine supplements have been given in India so far. According to data released by the Central Health Ministry, more than 4,50,65,998 vaccine doses have been given. So far, 77,86,205 healthcare and 80,95,711 frontline workers have been given the first dose of corona vaccine in India.

Around 4881,954 healthcare and 26,09,742 frontline workers have been given the second dose. At the same time, there are 37,21,455 beneficiaries who are over 45 years of age and 1,79,70,931 beneficiaries above 60 years have also been given the first dose. The countrywide vaccination campaign was launched on January 16 and the vaccination of frontline workers was started on February 2. The next phase of corona vaccination began on March 1, with people over the age of 60 years of age who began vaccination for people over the age of 45 years.

The Congress party is constantly questioning the pace of vaccination. According to the Congress party, vaccination will take years according to the speed at which vaccination is going on. In the first phase in India, 30 crore people were targeted for vaccination. Including one crore health worker, two crore frontline workers, and 27 crores 60 or younger people who have a severe illness. These people were told about vaccination by July. But vaccination was started for these three categories at different times.
