New Delhi: More than 50 per cent of people have been completely vaccinated under the ongoing vaccination drive against corona infection in The Sh. That means they have taken both doses of the corona vaccine. Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said on Sunday that it is a proud moment that more than 50 per cent of the qualified population is now fully vaccinated. We will come together and win the fight against corona, he added.
According to the Health Ministry, more than 127 crore doses of the corona vaccine have been administered in the country. 79.90 crore persons have been administered at least one dose and 47.71 crores have been administered both doses. 1.04 crore vaccine doses were administered across the country on Saturday. Importantly, the second dose figure is 75.12 lakh. Earlier also, many times a day the number of vaccinations has crossed 1 0 million.

Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya tweeted, "One crore corona vaccines were administered in India today (Saturday). Every home knock campaign is going on in full swing. The world's largest vaccination campaign is scaling new heights and achieving new successes under pm Narendra Modi." According to government data, an average of 59.32 lakh doses of vaccines were being administered daily in the month of November as compared to an average of 19.69 lakh doses per day in May. Officials said about 84.8 per cent of India's population has been administered the first dose of corona vaccine, while 50 per cent of adults have been given the second dose.
