Jaipur: People are in panic over the third wave as the second wave of corona epidemic falls. The third wave is believed to have the biggest impact on children. There is a worrying news coming out of Rajasthan. More than 600 children are reported to be infected in two districts of the state. These districts are Dausa and Dungarpur.

In fact,  two girls died of corona(one aged 9 years, the other 10 years) from a village in The Sikarai subdivision in Dausa. The father of the two was also infected with corona. He has passed away. Similarly, a two-year-old boy in Dausa has been infected with corona. According to the Health Department, 341 children below the age of 18 years have been infected in Dausa alone between May 1 and May 21. The same is the case with Dungarpur. In Dungarpur, 255 children below the age of 18 years have been infected from May 12 to May 22.

Dungarpur collector Suresh Kumar Ola says corona infection is quite common among children in his district. Parents are getting infected with corona, so children are also suffering from infection. However, their number is less. But they reject the collector's words CMO themselves. CMO Rajesh Sharma of Dungarpur says that more than 250 children have been infected with corona in the last 10 days. The only good thing is that no child has been reported dead due to covid.
