Over 800 students across the entire country have filed a petition requesting Chief Justice SA Bobde and other judges of the Supreme Court to take cognizance of the decision of CBSE to take up compartment competition for class 10th and 12th. Students say that the examinations should be postponed in view of the COVID-19 epidemic.
In the letter petition filed through Sandeep Saurabh, National General Secretary of All India Students Association, it has been told that CBSE has decided to take compartment examination. Till now CBSE has not been able to prepare any schedule for the examinations, but the school has released the deadline for the exam.

The association believes they had also approached the CBSE in this regard but no investigation was done on their behalf.
