A 50 year old naxal women apprehended by Security forces, carrying a reward of Rs 1.10 lakh, from the Left Wing Extremism (LWE)-hit Narayanpur district of Chhattisgarh.
Officials said the woman, identified as Sukhyarin Yadav, was apprehended yesterday by a joint squad of paramilitary ITBP and state police from Temrugaon village of the district during an anti-Maoist operation.
Yadav had atleast 13 case registered for indulging in Maoist activities official said, also she was carrying a reward of Rs 1.10 lakh.
A senior officer said “She was later handed over to local police who arrested her and presented her before a court,” The Indo-Tibetan Border Police is deployed in the district for anti-Naxal operations
