LONDON: World cricket's record of world cricket was shattered in Tuesday's England-Afghanistan match at the World Cup 2019. English captain Eoin Morgan's thunderstorms shattered all records one after the other. Morgan completed his century with just 57 balls to go with a historic 17 sixes. Before the outing, Morgan scored 148-runs on just 71 balls.

It is a world record of sixes in individual innings in a one-day history match. It also meant that Morgan scored 102 with just 17 sixes. Technically, Morgan completed his century with just 17 balls. This was done by Brian in the 15th match of the World Cup 2011 at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Chasing a target of 327 runs, the England bowlers were bundled out for just 50 in 50 balls.
