English captain Eoin Morgan's thunderstorms shattered all records one after the other. Morgan completed his century with just 57 balls to go with a historic 17 sixes. Before the outing, Morgan scored 148-runs on just 71 balls.

It is a world record of sixes in individual innings in a one-day history match. It also meant that Morgan scored 102 with just 17 sixes. Technically, Morgan completed his century with just 17 balls. This was done by Brian in the 15th match of the World Cup 2011 at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Chasing a target of 327 runs, the England bowlers were bundled out for just 50 in 50 balls.

Chasing a victory target of 376 runs set by hosts Australia, Australia were 376 for 9 in the stipulated 50 overs. Maxwell scored the second fastest century in World Cup history. It was also the first century of his career. Maxwell had scored 102 runs with 10 fours and four sixes in 53 balls. There were hundreds of balls.
