Morocco on Saturday reported 925 fresh corona cases, raising the total tally in the North African country to 465,769. The death toll rose by 23 to 8,128.The corona fatality rate in Morocco stands at 1.7 per cent while the recovery rate is 94.8 per cent.

In a statement, the ministry of health said," The number of recoveries from the coronavirus in Morocco increased to 441,693 after 1,041 more were adde. Meanwhile, 772 patients are in intensive care units.

Talking about global corona cases, There have been over 98 million cases across the globe. Barring few island nations in the Pacific, the virus has spread to every part of the world. Many countries are currently witnessing second, in some cases even third, the wave of coronavirus. The US with 17 million cases continued to grapple with latest surge in covid-19  cases. In India, the number of cases crossed the 10 million mark earlier this month.
