NELLORE: On Tuesday, the mortal remains of Andhra Pradesh minister Mekapati Gowtham Reddy were brought from Hyderabad to Nellore, his native district.

The body was airlifted from Hyderabad's Begumpet Airport to Nellore Parade Grounds and then to his home, where it was kept for visitors to pay their respects. In a special chopper, members of the minister's family accompanied the body. As a big number of mourners lined up to pay homage, a cloud of sorrow descended on his home in Nellore.
