There are two categories in this competition - first kingfish fishing category and the second cobia fishing category. In the kingfish fishing category, Hamdan Abdullah Al was the winner, who won 30.85 kg. The fish was caught. This fish was sold for about 39 lakh rupees in Nilami. Rashid Al Qubaishi finished second in the Kingfish Fishing category at 29.33 kg. Caught fish and Tariq Al Mansouri finished third at 29.11 kg.

Mohammed Abdullah Al Merjuki has got the first place in the Cobia Fishing category of the Grand Fishing Tournament. The weight of the fish that Abdullah al-Merjuki caught was 29.40 kg. At the second place, 25.17 kg. Ahmad Hilal Al Dhaheri, who caught the fish. Badar Sathyak Al Khaja, who was fishing 24.36 kg in this category, received the third prize. Fish caught during the Grad Fishing Tournament were released. With the auction of these fish, the club has received an amount of about 1 crore rupees. The money received from Nilami was donated to Emirates Red Crescent.
