Australia: Qantas Airways Limited has decided to lay off employees. In this episode, it will cut more than 2500 jobs. It was reported 24 hours earlier that the huge damage caused by Coronavirus lead to this. The airline has plans to outsource bus services for employees and customers around Sydney Airport, including maintenance of goods at the airport. Andrew David, head of the Qantas Domestic Operations, said that the pandemic has become a challenge for the aviation industry. He said, "Adoption of outsourcing method will save 100 million dollars every year."

The executive did not name the companies that would be seeking help in outsourcing, but the largest outsourcing companies in Australia are Denata, Swissport and Menz Aviation. On Tuesday afternoon, Qantas shares rose by 1.7 percent. At the end of last year, the pandemic caused by the coronavirus that came out of Wuhan in China stalled the activities around the world.
