MUMBAI: Well-known media advertising company WPP has released a list of the most valuable brands. In this list, private sector bank HDFC remained India's most valuable brand for the sixth consecutive year with $ 22.70 billion. According to this report, the brand value of the bank has increased by five percent. Public sector LIC is second in the list of the ten most valuable companies with $ 20 billion. Companies in the banking, financial services, insurance, telecom and auto sectors are included in this list.
The increase or decrease in the total wealth of any company has a direct impact on its brand valuation and in the case of telecom company Airtel. The total value of Airtel has come down by 10 percent to $ 10 billion. The total value of Reliance Jio has increased by 34 percent. Mukesh Ambani-led company has a total value of $ 5.47 billion.
The company ranks ninth on this list. State Bank of India SBI is at the fifth position in this list of most valuable brands. Its brand value has increased by seven percent. The bank has a total brand value of $ 8.40 billion. On the other hand, the slowdown in the auto sector has affected the valuation of companies in this sector. The brand value of the country's largest carmaker has fallen 14 per cent to $ 5.93 billion. Let us tell you that many companies have stopped production due to slowness.
