Shivpuri: InVillage Mahova Rathanpur under Bhunti police station area of Shivpuri district of Madhya Pradesh, the mother along with her two children jumped into a well and committed suicide. The bodies of the three were found in the well. It is being said that the woman has committed suicide by being disturbed by her husband's torture. The police have set up a morgue and started investigation.
According to the information received, a 31-year-old woman, Sandhya Pawan Kushwah, jumped into the well with her children Neetu (8) and Pravesh (5) at Majra Rathanpur in village Mahova. The police retrieved the bodies from the well at 2 pm on Friday and conducted a post-mortem and established the morgue. Police said that prima facie the case appears to be of self-interest, but despite this, further action will be taken on the basis of whatever facts will come in the post-mortem report. Police also said that from the facts that have come out in the initial interrogation, it seems that Pawan Kushwah is a drug addict. In an inebriated state, he used to torture his wife in many ways. He was beating him. On Thursday also, he tortured his wife and demanded money. Aggrieved by this, she disappeared from the house on Thursday afternoon along with her two children.
When he was not found for several hours, his family members began to look for him. Due to this search, evening slippers were found kept on the ghat of the well in the village. Then, at night, the villagers put thorns etc. in the well and started looking for the children, including Sandhya. Due to this, the body of daughter Neetu got stuck in the fork, then the villagers took her out and informed the police and Sandhya's parents.
