Mother praises her son on Facebook for scoring 60 per cent in CBSE exams

New Delhi: The organizations like CBSE and state boards are announcing the result of the students.  The pressure of the scoring the good marks enhances the stress in the students which leads to depression. Parents have often been blamed for not coming out in support of their children when it comes to academics. But a mother came in the support of her son who scored 60 percent in the exam.

Recently,  CBSE declared class 10 results and a mother came out in support of her son after he scored 60 per cent marks. The proud mother took to Facebook and gave a shout out to her son who had earlier found it difficult to understand Math, Science and Hindi.

The student had been diagnosed with teen depression and often found it difficult to concentrate. The woman took to Facebook and wrote, "This is just to tell my kid Mama's super proud". She further went on to laud her son for pushing himself and achieving the score.

 the mother, Vandana Katoch told The Hindu  that according to her, marks do not make a person or his life. Having seen a lot of life herself, Katoch pointed out that her son is like a "breathe of fresh air" to parents who cringe and crumble against the pressure of creating a perfect child.

Katoch took to social media after she saw that her son was not proud of his achievement. Katoch wanted to remind her son of his journey and the fact that he should not compare himself.
