Saraikel-Kharsawan: The bodies of a woman and her 3-year-old daughter were found hanging from a tree in Saraikel-Kharsawan district of Jharkhand on Thursday. The police reported this. According to reports, the bodies were found hanging from a neem tree on the roadside in Guttusai village. Rajnagar Tana in-charge Chandan Kumar said the 25-year-old woman was last seen fetching water from a tubewell near her house in the morning.
He said it was not yet known what caused the death. The bodies have been sent to Saraikela Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. Kumar said that when the woman's body was found, her husband was sleeping and he has been arrested. "We are waiting for the post-mortem report to confirm whether it was a suicide or a murder.
On the other hand, in the second incident, three persons lost their lives in incidents related to land dispute in Garhwa district. The police reported this on Thursday. The incident took place on Wednesday night at Sukhbana village under Sadar police station area. According to Garhwa Superintendent of Police Anjani Kumar Jha, two persons identified as Krishna Paswan (28-year-old) and Santosh Chandravanshi (30-year-old) were stoned to death at around 8.30 pm on Wednesday after kumar singh (26-year-old) was allegedly shot dead. Jha said the incidents appear to be related to land disputes and further investigations are on.
