Recently, a case of crime has surfaced from Bawana, Delhi. In this case, a 15-year-old girl was sold by her mother. The girl said that her mother had allegedly sold it to smugglers last week and Delhi Women's Commission gave this information on Sunday. In this case, the Women's Commission stated that "The rescued girl said that her mother had sold her to smugglers last month."

Talking further with this, the commission said that, "The girl's mother had told her to go with her to her sister's house in Badarpur on September 15, but instead she took her to a hotel in Nizamuddin". Talking about the matter, DCW said that "After the hotel deal, the mother told her that she would have to go somewhere and the young man would bring her home." But the young man took her to his house in Ishwar Colony in Bawana village. Other girls present at the young man's house asked him to dress up as a wedding dress. He told the girl that her mother had sold her for one lakh rupees. According to this, however, within a day, she somehow managed to escape from the young man's house and reached her home in Bawana to seek help from neighbours, who called the Delhi Women's Commission.

According to the information received in this case, the girl lived with her mother, father and four siblings. At the same time, no one has been arrested in this case and the girl has been sent to the shelter home.
