One of the most popular hosts of Television Industry, Maniesh Paul hosts popular choreographer and Indian reality show judge Geeta Kapur aka Geeta Ma in the latest episode of Maniesh Paul Podcast. Geeta Kapoor has a long journey in film industry. She began her career with Farah Khan’s dance troupe. Later, Geeta assisted Farah on films such as Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Dil Toh Pagal Hai, Mohabbatein, Kal Ho Na Ho, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, Om Shanti Om and Main Hoon Na.

Geeta in podcast opens up on trolls on her body when she judged reality show. She said, “I would get such nasty comments through fan mails. One day, I was really upset and wondered what was even happening. Why is no one looking at my work? I am sitting in the middle of two men and trying to make my place but no one looking at that.”

The actress further added, "No one is seeing the hard work that I am doing. Why is everyone asking why do I belong here? People used to call me fat. 'You look like a buffalo'. Obviously, Terrence was a good-looking guy and Remo had a personality to look forward to and everybody was like ‘why are you here? Moti, bhains ho gayi ho (You are fat like a buffalo).’”

Geeta further speaking about her journey said, “I was a part of a troupe as a dancer, and there was a simple fashion where they needed girls to walk the ramp for the same. Someone came and told me that since you look good, would you walk the ramp for us. And there was a saree pageant also in the same show. So in between, there were dance fillers also, and I ended up taking part in the pageant and winning it also. I won around 200-300 rupees for the same and my photo had gotten printed in the Mid-Day newspaper also.”
