Motorola is planning to launch another smartphone in India after a series of successful launches. On Twitter, Motorola teased the launch of the Moto E40. The Lenovo-owned company has yet to announce an official launch date for the Moto E40, but according to a tweet, the phone might be released soon. Motorola teased the launch of the Moto E40 on Twitter with a tweet from its official account.

Motorola just released the Edge 20 series in India. The Moto Edge 20 and Moto Edge 20 Fusion were the first models to be launched, however, the Moto Edge 20 Pro was subsequently added. Surprisingly, Motorola also unveiled the Moto Tab G20, a low-cost tablet. The Moto E40 is likely to be a budget phone, unlike the Motorola Edge 20 series, which includes phones in the mid-range and premium segments. 

Expected price and availability of Moto E40

According to the reports, the device would be priced under Rs 10,000 in India and will be launched by the end of this month or early November.

Possible Specifications of Moto E40

The Moto E40 has also been shown on a number of overseas websites. The smartphone was initially discovered on eMag, a Romanian shop site. A 6.5-inch IPS HD display with a resolution of 720 x 1,600 pixels is believed to be included in the smartphone.

The Unisoc T700 chipset is likely to power the Moto E40, which will have 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The smartphone will most likely have a 4,000mAh battery and a 10W charger. The phone will come pre-installed with Android 11 and may have a fingerprint sensor. In terms of cameras, the Moto E40 is expected to come with a 48 MP primary sensor, 2 MP macro and 2 MP sensor. At the same time, there can be an 8-megapixel camera on the front for selfies.
