Mouni Roy is one of the most popular celebrities of the telly world. The actor is all set to make her Bollywood debut with the film Gold. The stunning actor is paired opposite Akshay in the film that will hit the screens this Independence Day. Recently, there were rumours that she will be romancing John Abraham in RAW: Romeo Akbar Walter.

The Naagin actor has confirmed the news to Mumbai Mirror and said, "I’ve given auditions in the past but this film just happened. I went for a meeting and the team instantly felt I suited the character as I have an old-world vibe. They offered me the role and I immediately said ‘yes’. I wasn’t happy with the other offers I got around the time but I am excited about this film."

 Mouni Roy will also be seen in Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan in lead roles. The actor has completed the Bulgaria shoot with Ranbir and Alia and will soon start shooting with Big B. About the same, she expressed her excitement. "I love John sir’s work. He has an intimidating personality but everyone says wonderful things about him.
