Former Indian international archer and current coach Jayantilal Nanoma died in a road accident. According to the police, Jayantilal was returning to Dungarpur from Banswara with his partner on Sunday night, when his car overturned uncontrollably in front of Varda police station on Sagwara road.
In the incident, Jayantilal suffered a serious head injury and died due to excessive bleeding. On receiving the information, the local police reached the spot and Jayantilal, along with his colleague, was admitted to a private hospital, where the doctors referred him to Udaipur, before Jayantilal died before he could reach Udaipur.
The 34-year-old Nanoma also has a daughter. Nanoma, who was the coach of the Indian archery team in 2013, 2015 and 2018, was currently serving as the Dungarpur District Sports Officer, he prepared many archers from Rajasthan under his supervision.
